The final day of the Industrial Cup Hockey Tournament took place on April 9th in Fort Saskatchewan, attracting both young and, less young, to compete in this community oriented event. The tournament featured a total of 16 teams with players ranging from 18 years and up, along with a sprinkling of junior hockey talent.

Given the incredible amount of attention, the event organizer, Jeff Fisher recommended that the Gauswheel be auctioned off during the handout of other gifts and prizes.

It was decided that the proceeds of the auction were to be donated to the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League’s Fort Saskatchewan Fury; a fitting way to wrap up the event while supporting hockey locally.
